SERVICE
Talbot Group Children?s Residential Disability Service aims to
provide a residential service for children (age **Apply on the
website** to **Apply on the website**) with disabilities, autism or
acquired brain injuries that may also have mental health
difficulties.?It is the aim of the service to promote independence
and to maximise quality of life through person centred principles
within the framework of positive behaviour support. The core values of

service we provide. The aim of the service is firstly to enhance the
individual?s quality of life and second, to promote more adaptive
interactions between a person and their environment.
The Talbot Group are currently seeking a Basic Grade Clinical
Psychologist to provide psychological assessments and therapeutic
services in our children?s residential disability services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provide a range of psychological assessments and interventions as
required
* Therapeutic services
* Facilitate behavior management plans
* Provide support to our residents
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to meet the needs of our
residents
REQUIREMENTS
* Must hold a recognised validated post-graduate qualification in
Psychology as recognised by the Psychological Society of Ireland /
Department of Health or Health Care Professions Councils
* Experience working with individuals in the areas of disability and
residential services
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, teamwork and time
management skills
* Fluent in spoken and written English
* Own transport available for work purposes with full driving
licence
